Salami Cup Appetizer

Crispy Salami Bites. The perfect appetizer for the festive season.

Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 10 mins | Serves: 6


What you will need:

  • 20-25 Pieces salami

  • ⅓ Cup baby bocconcini sliced 

  • 1 Cup cherry tomatoes chopped fine

  • ½ Cup of basil leaves 

  • 1 Tbsp EVOO

  • 1 Tbsp of balsamic glaze


  • Preheat your oven to 180°C 
  • Add a piece of salami to each hole of a mini muffin tray, pressing down slightly to create a cup
  • Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the salami crisps up and can hold its shape. Once the salami is done, remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack
  • In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, salt, pepper, EVOO and the balsamic glaze
  • Scoop mixture into salami cups, top with a slice of bocconcini, a fresh basil leaf and enjoy!
