2021 will go down in history as the year that @continentalfoodsau officially recognised what Aussie's have known for years! That their French Onion Soup doubles as the most incredible dip! I’ve made mine a little bit fancy with some added ingredients but it’s just as good on its own. Added to a grazing board and she looks fresh out of a magazine.
Prep: 15 mins | Serves: 6-8
What you will need:
- 1x Packet of Continental french onion dip
- 400g Sour cream
- ½ Cup mayonnaise
- 1x Caramelized cooked onion
- 2x Large carrots peeled and chopped lengthwise and then halved
- 2x Large cucumbers quartered lengthwise
- 2x Celery sticks cut and halved
- A handful of chives
- A bowl of kalamata and green stuffed olives
- 1x Packet of prosciutto
- 1x Packet of salami
- Cheese of your choice
- Crackers of your choice
Method
- Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, french onion dip and onions (reserve a pinch of it to garnish on top) to a bowl and stir to combine
- Pour the dip into a bowl and place it in the centre of a serving platter
- Add all the remaining ingredients around the dip
- Serve and enjoy!
