Burnt Butter with Sage Pumpkin Ravioli

Burnt butter w/ sage pumpkin ravioli. A very easy dinner that looks far more fancier than the skills required to make it. Guy thought I ordered this from a restaurant šŸ˜œšŸ

Prep: 5 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | Serves: 2-3

What you will need:

  • 1 Packet of Pumpkin ravioli
  • 60g Butter
  • A handful of sage leavesĀ 
  • 50g Goats cheese
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup pine nuts

Method

  • Start by boiling a pot of water and cooking the ravioli as per packet instructions, then drain and set aside
  • Meanwhile, in a large pan on medium heat, add the pine nuts to the dry skillet and toast for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned. Remove and set aside
  • Return the pan to the heat and add in the butter. Let it bubble up and begin to brown, swirling the pan occasionally
  • Once the butter has lightly browned, add in the sage leaves and allow to sizzle for 2-3 minutes until fragrant
  • Add in the goats cheese and a sprinkle of salt and pepper and stir through until meltedĀ 
  • Add the ravioli to the pan and stir to coat through the butter sauceĀ 
  • Using a slotted spoon, transfer the ravioli to a plate and then drizzle the butter sauce on top
  • Serve with a sprinkle of pine nuts on top and enjoy!
