Sausage Pasta

Easy, delicious Sausage Pasta. 15 minutes to make and about 2 minute to lick the bowl clean.

Prep: 15 mins | Cook time: 40 mins | Serves: 4

 

What you will need:

  • Pasta of your choice
  • 2 Tbsp EVOO
  • 500g Sausages, removed from casing
  • 1 Clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang
  • 1/3 Cup white wine
  • 1/2 Cup thickened cream
  • 1 Cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

 

Method

  • Start by cooking your pasta as per packet instructions, drain whilst retaining 1/4 cup of pasta water and set aside
  • Heat the EVOO in a saucepan over medium-high heat and add the sausage meat in, breaking it up into small pieces as you go
  • Once the sausage meat has browned, add the garlic and onion and allow to sauté for 1-2 minutes
  • Add in the wine to deglaze the bottom of the pan and then add in the cream, bringing it to a boil and then turning down the heat and allow to simmer
  • Stir in the gochujang and a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste
  • Pour in the reserved pasta water and parmesan cheese and stir until melted through
  • Add in your pasta and stir to coat through the sauce
  • Serve and enjoy!
