What you will need:
- Pasta of your choice
- 2 Tbsp EVOO
- 500g Sausages, removed from casing
- 1 Clove of garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp Gochujang
- 1/3 Cup white wine
- 1/2 Cup thickened cream
- 1 Cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Start by cooking your pasta as per packet instructions, drain whilst retaining 1/4 cup of pasta water and set aside
- Heat the EVOO in a saucepan over medium-high heat and add the sausage meat in, breaking it up into small pieces as you go
- Once the sausage meat has browned, add the garlic and onion and allow to sauté for 1-2 minutes
- Add in the wine to deglaze the bottom of the pan and then add in the cream, bringing it to a boil and then turning down the heat and allow to simmer
- Stir in the gochujang and a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste
- Pour in the reserved pasta water and parmesan cheese and stir until melted through
- Add in your pasta and stir to coat through the sauce
- Serve and enjoy!
