What you will need:
- 1 Tbsp EVOO
- 1 Brown onion, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
- 500g Beef mince
- 100g Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp of plain flour
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp of sweet paprika
- 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Cups beef stock
- 1/4 Cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pasta of your choice
Method
- Start by heating up the EVOO in a deep pan
- Add in the onion and garlic and allow to sauté for 2 minutes
- Add in the beef mince and break it up with a wooden spoon. Stir occasionally until brownedÂ
- While the beef mince is browning, cook your pasta as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside
- Return to your pan and add the mushrooms, flour tomato paste, sweet paprika, Worcestershire sauce and beef stock. Stir through to combine and allow to simmer for 5 minutes
- Add in the sour cream and butter and stir through until meltedÂ
- Plate your pasta topped with the stroganoff sauce
- Serve and enjoy!
