No baking, not many ingredients and absolutely delicious! Finger licking good... literally!
Prep time: 1.5 hours | Cook time: 10-12 mins | Serves: 4-6
What you will need:
- A biscuit tin
- 1 Packet of Granita biscuits
- 125g of butter, melted + 50g extra butter
- 2 Bananas, sliced into rounds
- 300ml of double thick cream
- 1 Can of condensed milk
- 1/3 Cup of brown sugar
Method
- Start by adding the entire packet of granita biscuits to a food processor, blitz them into crumbs
- Add the melted butter to the food processor to combine with the biscuit crumbs and then pour the crumble to the base of your biscuit tin and press down to flatten them, making sure the edges are higher than the base
- Pop the biscuit tin into the fridge to help set the crumb for 30mins
- Place the condensed milk, brown sugar and remaining butter into a pot and stir until melted on low heat - approx 10-12minutes
- Once melted and thickened, pour the mixture into the biscuit tin on top of the base and place it back into the fridge for 1 hour to cool
- Add a layer of bananas on top and then pour over the double thick cream, using the back of a spoon to flatten it out
- An optional suggestion - grate some chocolate over the top for some extra sweetness
- Serve and enjoy!
