What you will need:

  • 3 Onions, sliced
  • Balsamic glaze
  • EVOO
  • Italian herbs 
  • 3 Tbsp sun-dried tomatoes
  • Garlic bulb
  • 1/2 a wheel of herb and garlic cream cheese
  • Pasta of your choice (I used bow pasta)

 

Method

  • Start by preheating your oven to 170°C 
  • Add your sliced onions and sun-dried tomatoes to a deep oven proof dish and drizzle over with some balsamic glaze and EVOO and then sprinkle over some Italian herbs. Mix until well coated
  • Create a well in the middle of the dish and add the garlic bulb with an extra drizzle of EVOO over the top
  • Cover the the dish with some alfoil and pop it into the oven for 40 mins
  • In the meantime, cook your pasta of choice as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside
  • Pull the oven dish out of the oven and squeeze the onion out of the bulb 
  • Add the herb and garlic cream cheese wheel and mix it through until melted 
  • Add in the cooked pasta and stir to coat
  • Garnish with some basil leaves
  • Serve and enjoy!
