What you will need:
- Wooden board for serving
- Baking paper
- Spatula
- 250gm room temperature butter
- 4 teaspoons crispy chilli oil
- 2 teaspoons honey
- Sprinkle of salt
- 7-10 Chive sprigs chopped
- Sourdough bread
Method
- Start by laying your baking paper on top of your board
- Spatula the butter on top of the baking paper so it appears uneven, like little mountains across the board
- Now let the creation begin, spoon your crispy chilli oil in 4 blobs across the butter, let some of the oil run wild, and let it drip across the butter to fill in the gaps.
- Drizzle your honey on top. This step is essential (it’s way better with the honey!)
- Sprinkle some salt to taste
- Add your chopped chives
- Grab (run don’t walk) your sliced sourdough and knife some of your butter board onto the bread
