These are a tiny bit of work but I promise you the effort is worth it.
Prep: 15 mins | Cook time: 12 mins | Serves: 2
What you will need:
- 500g Raw prawns, chopped
- 1 Garlic clove, crushed
- 1 Tbsp chives, chopped
- 1 Tbsp spring onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh ginger
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 5 Sheets rice paper
- Sesame seeds
Method
- Preheat your oven to 220 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper
- In a mixing bowl, add the prawns, garlic, chives, spring onions, salt & pepper, sesame oil and soy sauce, stir to combine and set aside
- Add some warm water into a shallow bowl. One at a time, submerge a rice paper sheet into the water and then transfer on top of some wet paper towels and cut in half
- Add a spoonful of mixture on to each side of the rice paper sheet and roll them into dumplings and transfer onto your lined baking tray
- Repeat steps for remaining rice paper sheets and then sprinkle some sesame seeds over the top
- Pop them into the oven for 12 minutes
- Serve and enjoy!
