These beef pita pockets are next level good! So simple to make and the kids loved them!
Prep: 5 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | Serves: 4
What you will need:
- 1/2kg Beef mince
- 50g Feta cheese, crumbled
- 3 Garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp EVOO
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tsp onion powder
- 1 Tsp paprika
- 1/2 Tsp cumin
- 1/2 Tsp coriander
- A sprinkle of cayenne
- A sprinkle of cinnamon
- A sprinkle of dried mint
- A sprinkle of ground cloves
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 Pita pocket breads
Method
- Add all the ingredients into a large bowl and use your hands to combine it all together
- Using a handful of mince, create a half moon and slide it into a pita pocket. Repeat for the remaining mince
- Heat up 1 Tbsp of EVOO in a pan and fry it up on both sides for 4-5 mins or until meat is cooked through on medium heat
- Serve with some tzatziki and enjoy!
