These beef pita pockets are next level good! So simple to make and the kids loved them!

Prep: 5 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | Serves: 4

 

What you will need:

  • 1/2kg Beef mince
  • 50g Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 Garlic clove, minced 
  • 1 Tbsp EVOO
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tsp paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp cumin
  • 1/2 Tsp coriander
  • A sprinkle of cayenne 
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
  • A sprinkle of dried mint
  • A sprinkle of ground cloves
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 Pita pocket breads 

Method

  • Add all the ingredients into a large bowl and use your hands to combine it all together
  • Using a handful of mince, create a half moon and slide it into a pita pocket. Repeat for the remaining mince
  • Heat up 1 Tbsp of EVOO in a pan and fry it up on both sides for 4-5 mins or until meat is cooked through on medium heat
  • Serve with some tzatziki and enjoy!
