Weekend Wonder: Concrete Playground

The day Guy and I have been waiting for has finally arrived…house building day! About 2 years ago we purchased a house in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with plans to do a full knock down and re-build. We have been working with the super talented and super tall Joe Snell on the architectural planning and you could say, the house he has designed has exceeded anything we could have ever dreamt. For anyone who has ever built a house, you will understand the process of even getting to the building phase and we finally have all our ducks in a row. Architect. Tick. Builder. Tick. Engineer. Tick. Council approval. Tick. Endless other paper workie type things. Tick. Patience. Tick.
With that said, I am like a dog at a bone with home interior inspiration right now, so I thought I would share some of the amazing designs I am finding from Australia and across the globe. If we can achieve even a smidge of what these clever people are producing for their homes, we will happy little campers.
This first interiors post is a renovated townhouse in Copenhagen. I am a sucker for concrete and bronzed fixtures and the clever use of space in this design is genius.
So, welcome to our house building journey. Let the games begin!
