White. It’s a trend that will and does stand the test of time. It’s not always practical to wear top to toe white (can I get an amen Mothers?!), but it sure does look great. Here is some inspiration when and if you are willing to take the plunge. x

Sometimes you meet a person you feel like you already know. I had met Justine Cullen, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Magazine Australia once before our interview on a panel we both sat on at FBI Fashion Collage. We were amongst a fine company of women who all work in the fashion industry and were giving advice to the students on how to get into the industry.
Repeat offenders alert! We are all guilty of having our favourite pair or shoes and the bag we can’t put down. So, instead of wearing them with the same old, same old, try and think fun, creative ways you can incorporate them into every style you wear.
In this post, I have chosen a flat shoe and a shoulder bag to rotate with a casual, corporate and dressed up look. Everything you see is available from next.
I have been a tomboy my whole life. I graduated to dresses and make up as a teenager, but my heart still lies with fashion with a boy edge. Here is some inspiration if you feel the same way.
As we get ready to say goodbye to 2015, I am feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for the the year we have just had. There is too many wonderful and amazing things that have happened this year to possibly ever write down. I will be forever grateful for the moments, memories, people and places, opportunities, highs and fun the year has brought.
I am a big believer in not sacrificing style for comfort and vice versa. Being mum of two young children it’s always at the top of my mind when deciding on an outfit for the day – how can I be stylish yet comfortable all at once? It can be done, and here’s how.
If I’m being honest, PJ’s would have to be one of the great joys of my life. Who doesn’t love slipping into their soft comfy bed time wear for a night curled up on the couch? Nothing beats it.
Now, I may have taken the Christmas cheer a little too far with this post, but hey, if you’re going to do something, let’s not do it half way! It is the silly season after all.
SUMMER is here – yay! There is nothing quite like sun kissed shoulders, salt in your hair and long summer nights. It’s the time of year when life comes up for a breath of air and time somewhat stands relatively still. We reflect, spend time with loved ones, celebrate the year that was and gear up for the year ahead.
As we head into the summer months I thought I would put together a list of essentials that I live by to keep me cool and healthy!
This time of year can get a little hectic, manic even, with everything that needs be wrapped up for the Holiday season. On the flip side, it means parties, celebrations and a chance to kick up your heals too!
We all feel special when we have something new in the wardrobe to wear to a fancy occasion, and at this time of year – it’s vital! But with that comes the rigmarole of finding a frock that makes you feel like a million bucks, without spending a million bucks.
In this post, I’ve done some of the hard yards for you and found some great looks for less.
Sometimes I get stuck in a personal fashion rut. There I said it. It is so easy to stick to what I know and wear the same pair of jeans with the same tee and blazer over and over, till I purchase another pair jeans, a tee and blazer in a slightly different shade to what I already own…RUT. Being a mother has especially put me in the same old, same old category because, well…comfort!
Alas, in this post, I decided to put myself out of my fashion comfort zone and try a trend I have been watching for a while but have not yet tried – off the shoulder! I’m not sure why I haven’t bared all clavicle before, but when I came across this gorgeous Lucy McIntosh top from much loved shopping site Love Twain, I thought why not! I teamed it with another love of my life, STRIPES and voila – I was pulled from my rut instantly. I felt like I was ready for a European holiday!
I want to encourage you to try something you haven’t tried before and get yourself out of what you normally gravitate to. Even if you just try it on at the shops and not bring it home, it is a good way to open your mind to what might be out there for you. Choose a trend you really like but haven’t been bold enough to try and give it a go!
Enjoy the post! x
