I’m back at it with my concrete and wood combo, but I just can’t get enough! This lovely house is pretty much heaven in 4 walls. I love it’s grand structure and delicate finishings. It’s the perfect mix of simple, minimal and strong.

There is so much home inspiration around me. As we start the build to our house, I am collecting some beautiful ideas from endless scrolling on the world wide web. To me, there is nothing like starting simply and adding your own taste and aesthetic from there. Much like this house. Sweet. Simple. Stylish.

On Japan’s smallest island, Shikoku, stands this Tadao Ando, seven bedroom concrete delight. Completed 17 years ago as a private guesthouse it was then transformed into a small art museum and has now opened as the Setouchi Retreat Aonagi.
