I have always followed my curiosity. I was never the little girl who was born knowing without a doubt what she wanted to do when she grew up.  I was into a lot of different things when I was at school. I loved sport, music and reading. None of those things I particularly excelled at and none of them where interests in which I thought would become my career. I simply liked and tried things. This has become the story of my whole life! Like it, try it.

A textured bag can cheer up even the simplest of outfits. Think of it as the cherry on top of an already well put together attire.

Repeat offenders alert! We are all guilty of having our favourite pair or shoes and the bag we can’t put down. So, instead of wearing them with the same old, same old, try and think fun, creative ways you can incorporate them into every style you wear.

So….I’m not sure what happened to summer here in Sydney – this rain just won’t stop! While the weather is all doom and gloom outside, I have taken a rare chance/moment in time to hop back into bed this afternoon, snuggle in with my laptop and dream about the year ahead. I love that about a new year. It give us the chance to wipe the slate clean, get re-inspired and dream up new ideas, challenges, resolutions and plan exciting new adventures.

SUMMER is here – yay! There is nothing quite like sun kissed shoulders, salt in your hair and long summer nights. It’s the time of year when life comes up for a breath of air and time somewhat stands relatively still. We reflect, spend time with loved ones, celebrate the year that was and gear up for the year ahead.

As we head into the summer months I thought I would put together a list of essentials that I live by to keep me cool and healthy!

I love fashion. It tells a story and you can be whoever you want to be in the given moment of getting dressed for the day. I also love when I discover a new fashion label! This happened  when I received an email recently introducing me to the Melbourne brand Dilia. Their interesting design and black, white, colbolt blue and nude colour palette had me at hello. When I had the chance to try it on, it was everything I wanted it to be!

I can’t help it. Grey is my favourite. Anything grey and I’m sold. It’s neutral, it goes with everything, it’s non offensive, classic and you can wear it in any season. 

Spring can be a tricky one to figure out what to wear. The sun can pop out in all it’s glory then slip behind an angry grey cloud to shower us with sideways rain. The wind can sweep us off the sidewalk and sometimes you don’t know if you should bring your umbrella, bathing suit or a light cashmere sweater to battle the elements.

Here are some tips for dressing for the unpredictable spring weather.

I’ve always had a thing for navy. It has a level of sophistication about it and I always feel like a proper grown up when I wear it. I love that it can be chic and classic, cool, casual and right on trend. It’s an alternative to black but too much of a stand out colour.
