It’s no secret at all that I had the best time filming Bringing Sexy Back for Channel Seven – sure I had just given birth to my beautiful second baby Archer and sleep wasn’t exactly a thing, but seeing how the lovely people on the show transformed themselves both physically and emotionally was so inspiring and so worth it!
Those of you who follow me on Instagram would know I post the makeover outfits after each episode – but I’ve decided to list my Top 3 looks from the show based on your feedback and of course, my own personal favourites.
Look #3 – Suited Up
What I’m Wearing: Ink Blot Print Jacket and Pants from Yttrium by Aurelio CostarellaShirt by Witchery and Shoes by Tony Bianco
This was one of my favourite looks of the show – I felt confident and a little bit sexy too in this suit by Yttrium by Aurelio Costarella paired with a crisp white shirt from Witchery. I wore this while meeting Sam & Gary – such an inspirational couple and so in love!
Look #2 – Pins out by the pool
What I’m Wearing:
‘My People’ Mustard Gold top by Sass and Bide, Shorts (borrowed – found in a vintage market in New York, how annoying/fabulous – I know!) and on my feet ‘Tozzi’ by Senso Shoes.
When on an island, why not let your legs see a bit of sun, right? Well I have to admit I’m not really one to show off my pins – but it looks like this look was a hit with you on Instagram! Thanks also to Blondie Alexandra for letting me borrow those awesome shorts.
Look #1 – Frills and Flowers
What I’m Wearing:
Florabotanica Dress by Alice McCall, Shoes by ZU (almost vintage as I bought them about 5 years ago…when the first Sex & The City movie came out and gladiators were all the rage!)
And drumroll please – according to my social feedback this was your most favourite look of mine from the show! I have to agree – this lovely floral dress was one of my faves – comfortable, stylish and on trend. Here’s a little inside information and trick of the trade – the neck frill was stuck to my neck with Hollywood Tape to make it stay (not great for the spray tan when I had to take it off my skin!) Ahhh the glamour!
