Tea with Jules…with fashion designer Steven Khalil

Steven Khalil is a house hold name when it comes to his wedding dress and red carpet designs. He has dressed the who’s who of the fashion and celebrity world and he’s not stopping there.

I have had the pleasure of working with Steven on many occasions, dressing my clients and even wearing his designs. He is a true creative. Not only is he a genius of the dress, he is an amazing human being. Sweet, kind and really knows how to make a girl feel like a million bucks.

You will love this episode of Tea with Jules with this gem, Steven Khalil.

Tea with Jules: Holly Russell, Senior Buyer at Net-A-Porter

Talk about best job in the world! Holly Russell is Senior Buyer at Net-A-Porter.com – so basically her job involves (among other things) travelling around the world watching fashion shows and meeting designers and then deciding what items the online fashion mecca will stock. Wow. For a moment I think I also had the second best job in the world, because I was invited to Qualia Resort as part of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week to have a cup of tea with Holly and talk shop. She was so lovely and I hope you’ll really enjoy this chat about what it takes to be a buyer, how to spot a fashion trend and of course your wardrobe must haves.   Enjoy! x

Tea with Jules with Mamie Gummer

Recently I had the pleasure of sitting down with US television, movie and theatre actress Mamie Gummer about her new film Ricki and The Flash. In the movie she plays Julie, the daughter of fading rocker (Ricki, played by Meryl Streep) who is dealing with quite a few issues in life. In real life of course, Mamie’s mother is actually actress Meryl Streep, you might have heard of her?…… I sat down with Mamie to talk about what it was like growing up in a creative family, her third time acting on screen with her mum and her favourite sorts of characters to play.

You can watch it below.  Ricki and The Flash hits Australian cinemas on August 27.

Last night saw the launch of my brand new venture, Tea With Jules. The concept behind it is to sit down with inspirational people and let them tell their stories of triumph, challenges, road blocks and achievements.

Within my own friendship circle, I am kind of known for my home being a place to come to for a cup of tea and chat on the couch.
