I can’t help it. Grey is my favourite. Anything grey and I’m sold. It’s neutral, it goes with everything, it’s non offensive, classic and you can wear it in any season. 

There is no denying that the Saddle Bag is the IT bag of the season. The thing I love most about this style of bag is it’s versatility. With so many available options, you can gather a nice collection of colours and styles to inject your wardrobe.

 

Colour. Sometimes you just have to do it and do it all the way I say. My favourite ‘colour’ to wear is grey…..I can safely say I am a recovering neutral addict, BUT in this post I have shaken myself up and hopped on a rainbow train to colour-town.

I can honestly say there is something to be said about what happens to your mood when you wear colour. It’s uplifting, joyful and can turn a gloomy day into a bright one.

Now, I’m not saying I’ve let go of grey on grey on grey, forever, but it’s definitely given me a few more options in the wardrobe.

Spring can be a tricky one to figure out what to wear. The sun can pop out in all it’s glory then slip behind an angry grey cloud to shower us with sideways rain. The wind can sweep us off the sidewalk and sometimes you don’t know if you should bring your umbrella, bathing suit or a light cashmere sweater to battle the elements.

Here are some tips for dressing for the unpredictable spring weather.

I’ve always had a thing for navy. It has a level of sophistication about it and I always feel like a proper grown up when I wear it. I love that it can be chic and classic, cool, casual and right on trend. It’s an alternative to black but too much of a stand out colour.

 

The 70’s are back in a big way. It was a wonderful era that definitely left it’s mark on the fashion world.  Sometimes I wish I could time travel and experience some of those moments first hand. Alas! We know that’s not possible, so I’ve put together a modern take that nudges in the direction of the era without having to actually visit my mum’s closet!
