Books I love…The Hudsband's Secret

I used to be an avid reader of books. I loved going to the book shop and purchasing a new book, then devouring it over a cup of tea…or 10! When my first baby, Hudson was born, my reading came to a sudden holt when everything baby and survival became my top priority. I feel like am only just starting to rise back up to the surface and come out of the new born phase/haze (after the birth of my second baby, Archer who just turned 1) therefore – I’m back in business when it comes to books!
As I read, I want to share with you the books I think are great and see if you have read them too or inspire you to read them yourself! On my recent trip to Europe, I was able to read an entire book front to back and this one I could not put down.
The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moritarty is an absolute page turner and I quite literally could not put it down until I knew what happened at the end. The book is set in Australia, so it feels like this fictional story is happening just down the road from us!
If you found an envelope from your very much still alive husband, marked ‘To be opened only in the event of my death’ …would you open it?! Hmm I’m still not sure myself, but follow the journey of home maker Cecelia Fitzpatrick, wife of Jon-Paul in a story of choices.
You will not be disappointed with this read!
