I could actually sit and talk to Naomi Simson all. day. long. She is an absolute hoot and a fountain of knowledge and wisdom. Naomi is not just a business woman who dominates the online space (erhm.. 2 million followers on LinkedIn), she is a newly wed, a mother and a television star – anyone watching Shark Tank?!. Phew!
This is a very special episode of Tea with Jules, because I get to share a cuppa with my girlfriends! This is a first ever on TWJ and to say I’m excited is an understatement. I love my friends my favourite thing to do is sit down for a cup of tea with them to have a catch up and a chat. Read More
Sarah Harris is like a breath of fresh air! I have had the pleasure of being a guest panelist on Studio 10 a few times and I can say that this girl is the real deal. She is as lovely off camera as she is on. Read More
Jessica May is the founder and CEO of a hugely successful business called Enabled Employment, a labour hire company for people with a disability. Jessica herself suffers from dissociative anxiety (put up your hand if you didn’t know that anxiety was a disability!) after having been the victim of sexual abuse, and created the business when she didn’t get the support she needed from her employer. The reason I started Tea with Jules was to share the stories of my guests in hopes of inspiring you to live your very best life. To me, we are all the same. Regardless of position or status, we are all humans on the planet doing our best to have a happy life.
The guests who come to share a tea with me, have a similar thread to their story. They have had to endure some pretty tough life moments to come through to the other side to find confidence and joy. The road is very rarely easy, even for the most beautiful, smart and noted people. Everyone has a story. The ups and downs is what makes a person who they are. Its a beautiful disaster and I love it! Ok, confession…I’ve been married for almost 9 years (in May!), I dated my husband for 8 years before we got married and knew him for 6 years before we dated. Phew! When you put it in writing, that’s a really long time! So, the concept for a TV show where people tie the knot upon meeting for the very first time, was a lot for me to get my head around! I couldn’t believe people were doing it, but alas, once I started watching Married at First Sight, I was hooked!
James Mathison has graced Australian television for the past 15 years. I first met James as the co-host of Australian Idol in 2003 and have loved watching his career and life flourish. Not only is he a hilarious human he is passionate for what he believes in. James shares a cup of tea and his story with me in this fun episode of Tea with Jules .
Whenever I have a day of filming for Tea with Jules, I always have a few days of nerves leading into it. I don’t take my role lightly and I want you guys, my viewers, to get practical information and juicy knowledge out of each interview I do. I research thoroughly and try to put the most interesting and inspiring people in the chair, so you too can be inspired. So, when Mr Tim Costello, Chief Advocate and former CEO of World Vision agreed to come and have a chat with me, needless to say I was a little intimidated by his achievements!
Not only has Tim spent the last 13 years of his life as the CEO of World Vision he has had his time in politics and as a Minister. He is a very accomplished man, with worlds of wisdom to share. The moment Tim entered the room, my nerves disappeared and he made us all feel completely at ease with his friendly and warm nature.
I hope you enjoy this in depth and really interesting interview with Tim Costello.
