4 Podcasts to lend your ear to
For anyone who has talked to me in the last 6 months, you would know I’m obsessing on podcasts right now! It’s a great way to download positivity and inspiration into my day without making extra time in my day to do it. I usually put one on in the car on my way to the office or picking up the kids. I’ve selected a few of my fav’s below if you feel like some inspiring interviews, fun facts and life hacks. OH – and as we speak we are working on a Tea with Jules podcast for those who are asking! Should be coming really soon – so watch out for that.
The Happier podcast with Gretchen Rubin. This is the podcast that got me into podcasts! Gretchen Rubin is the author of the book The Happiness Project (which is an amazing read by the way!), and she started this podcast with her sister Elizabeth Craft. They cover off some really interesting subjects like Becoming a Minor Expert, How to be on Time, What do you Lie About and the Awful Habit of Awfulizing. They give you really great ‘try this at home’ tips to take away and it’s always a really uplifting and practical listen. Highly recommend!
I discovered this podcast after reading Sophia Amoruso’s book #girlboss. Sophia is the founder of fashion destination nastygal.com and the book tells her story on starting the brand. In the podcast you will hear her interview other #girlbosses who are successful in their field. From CEO’s to comedians and an injection of comedy with her bestie at the beginning of each podcast will have you coming back for more. This one is for anyone looking for business inspiration and how to be a kick butt entrepreneur.
This podcast is for anyone who has an interest in what is going on in fashion globally. It covers who’s designing for who, the latest trends, catwalk shows, up-to-date fashion news and almost everything you will ever need to know in the rag trade. If you work in fashion, you will get some great knowledge but if you just want to be in the know on all things fashion – this one is for you!
For anyone who reads my blog, you will know I do love me some Elizabeth Gilbert. She is the author of the legendary book ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ and her most recent musings ‘Big Magic’. Elizabeth shares some great pearls of wisdom in this podcast ‘Magic Lessons’. She delves into the lives of some of her fans by offering them advice for their big life questions. She talks through pursuing your passions, accessing your joy and does some really inspiring interviews with her famous friends. Such a feel good podcast with some great take home advice!
This is just a few podcast that I am loving right now. Which ones are you guys listening too? Tell me in the comments below!
